Vill Ariana Grande, Canggu
It’s that time again!! As if 2016 wasn’t a big enough adventure, we thought we’d kick off 2017 with a killer blogger trip across the pond to Bali, or in other words an instagrammers paradise.
You may remember that during summer last year we collaborated with The Asia collective on an unforgettable trip to Thailand, so when we had the opportunity to travel to indonesia we obviously grabbed it with both hands.
February isn’t high season for Bali, in fact it’s the rainy season (we have a recurring theme of visiting countries during their worst weather) however at 4 days in we’ve been bathed in sun and have even been topping up our non-existent tan. Joining us on this epic adventure is a group of wonderful bloggers @plantbased_pixie, @whatelladid, @jemmazielonka, @shelivesherdream and @_laurenfitness – don’t be too envious of the pics to follow.
Destination 1: Canggu
Situated in the west of the country, Canggu is pretty central in terms of accessibility to the nearby airport, beach, multiple eateries, and surrounding towns too. Saturated with culture and endless photo spots, Canggu was the perfect place to start.
Our villa, a popular Air Bnb was nestled away down a narrow track conveniently located next to a mini mart – perfect for midnight chocolate cookies (shh), but hidden behind large unassuming black gates was our own little version of narnia. The central courtyard which was home to the beautiful blue pool was enclosed by 5 beautiful en-suite bedrooms and a large kitchen/living/dining room with bi-folding doors.
At the end of the beautiful blue pool hung a bed-sized swing PERFECT for relaxing, swinging and pictures..too!
There’s something quite amazing to waking up to freshly brewed coffee, morning news catchup and the sound of local wildlife.
Villa Ariana Grande was the perfect location for the foodies amongst us. Local amenities were super easy to find, but for the sit down meals we were truly spoilt for choice. Our favourite was by far Peloton Supershop:
This one’s a must see when staying at the villa, only a 25 minute drive away the temple in the ocean is quite honestly breathtaking. Perfect spot for photo opportunities, markets and meeting the locals.

Thanks to floatiesparadise for lending us the coolest inflatables in town!!
